Housing Opportunities:

The YWCA operates a small, low-cost residence for women who are transitioning from one stage in their life to another. The residence offers private, single rooms with common areas including a lounge, kitchen, and laundry.

To be eligible for consideration, a woman must be 18 years of age or older and able to live cooperatively with others. Preference is given to women who are employed, or enrolled in school, a GED course, or a job training program.

Residents may stay up to three years, although an extension is possible under special circumstances. During their residency, women are encouraged to gather the necessary resources to take the next step. To support the accumulation of financial resources, rental fees remain constant throughout the stay and are not linked to income.

YWCA staff are available to assist residents in achieving their personal goals.
