“On a large social scale, racial injustice and women’s lack of empowerment prevent people from sharing the talents they brought into the world with them. These social problems not only obstruct peoples’ happiness and success, they also impoverish the world. I won’t stand still for this. Fortunately we have in our midst an organization that makes positive change in our community. I am a proud member of the YWCA.
