Lori Wemhoff - YWCA Director
Lori joined the YWCA Alliance as Executive Director in January 2026, bringing over 15 years of nonprofit, community, and membership-based leadership experience. A Massillon native, she spent more than a decade as Executive Director of the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce, where she focused on building partnerships across local government, education, business, and nonprofit sectors. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply involved in community service — including board work with social service organizations and initiatives addressing poverty, food insecurity, education, and equity. "I am honored to join the YWCA Alliance and continue its important work in the community," says Lori. "I look forward to working alongside the board, staff, volunteers, and community partners to strengthen and expand the YWCA's impact." An advocate for women's leadership and empowerment, she has participated in regional women's organizations and mentoring efforts throughout her career. As the YWCA steps into its centennial year, Lori is eager to build on the momentum already in place and help shape what the next 100 years of service looks like for the Alliance community.
Allison Reed - YWCA Boutique Manager
Since 2017, Allison has been involved with the coordination and evolution of the YWCA Career & Fashion Boutique, located in the Alliance Commons, first as a volunteer and now as manager. “I love making a difference in the community by offering reasonably priced clothing and accessories, helping patrons put outfits together, and being a listening ear to those who need it. In addition to processing all donations, pricing and creating attractive displays, she also updates on a weekly basis the growing in popularity Instagram page – @ywcaboutique. “I started out as a volunteer then being offered the position was such a blessing to be a part of an amazing organization with so many programs that meet the needs in our community.” A lifelong resident of Alliance, Allison has 2 grown children and a grandson. In her spare time, she’s planning her 2027 wedding.
Tierney Allen - Program Director & Meals on Wheels Coordinator
Tierney has a very lengthy list of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to Transitional Housing, Meals on Wheels, Fashion Boutique and Hygiene Bags programs. A native of Alliance, Tierney wants to make a difference in the community she grew up in, by living out the YW’s mission to help people better their lives. “I don’t have a favorite event yet, but seeing the amazing outcomes of all the hard work the team has done, come together, is the best part.” A graduate of the University of Mount Union where she was a member of the women’s basketball team, of course her favorite color is purple and in her spare time she enjoys watching sports.
Kasia McElroy - Food Services Coordinator
It is her love for cooking and the ability to create a variety of delicious menus that makes Kasia’s job so rewarding. She prepares the meals for meals on wheels for our Congregate locations at Alliance Tower and Hart Apartments. In addition, she oversees all Haggart Hall events and she especially enjoys when catering is requested. “I very much enjoy catering events for all types and sizes of groups. It allows me to be artsy and tap into my creative side.” Kasia has been part of the team since May 2025. Kasia’s goal for 2026 is to increase the number of events held at Haggart Hall and make it once again the place Alliance comes to celebrate events. On a personal note, she loves food, traveling and the color emerald green.
Violet Kidd - Office & Housing Assistant
The role of Office & Housing Assistant represents only a portion of Violet’s contributions to YWCA Alliance. Since joining the team in 2025, she has provided essential housing, program, and administrative support, while also assisting with volunteer coordination, community engagement, compliance, safety, and daily operations. Grateful for the opportunity to serve the community, Violet cites Gifts from the Heart as her favorite event. She is thankful for her four children, three grandchildren, and her Lifeline Church family.
